We believe confidence grows when children are seen, encouraged, and supported for who they are. Referring a child helps us recognize young people who demonstrate strong character, and may benefit from a new pair of shoes and meaningful encouragement.
To protect the privacy and dignity of every child, our referral process follows a minimum-information and privacy-first standard. We do not collect or request medical, clinical, or sensitive personal history information at any point.
Referrals must come from a working professional with direct involvement in the child's life, educators, coaches, counselors, social workers, community leaders, faith-based leaders, and youth program coordinators.
Refer a child who demonstrates kindness toward peers, courage to stand up for what is right, embraces individuality, or shows positive leadership in school, sports, or community settings.
We only collect the essentials: child's first name (or initials), age or grade level, shoe size if known, a brief character description, and the referrer's professional contact.
All referrals are submitted through our secure form. Information is protected and only accessible to authorized team members.
Our team reviews each referral based on character and eligibility. If a child is selected, we contact the parent or guardian directly, written or digital consent is required before any participation.
Once approved, the child receives a brand new pair of shoes and may be recognized for their positive character and leadership within their community.
To honor each child's privacy, we do not collect or request:
To protect every child, we verify each referrer before any child's details are collected. Share your professional information below. Once we've confirmed your role, we'll email you a secure link to submit the child's details (Step 2). No child information is requested on this form.
